7.7 Conclusion

The Genetic Images Application allows a user to create interesting images in a relatively short amount of time. An artist would be able to guide the computer to an interesting image in a much shorter time than it would take to design and paint the image from scratch using traditional methods. It fits into the bigger picture of Artificial Life because it is able to generate images that are organic and it emulates nature by using natural selection and a genetic scheme to produce the images.
